Heather Croxton
Director, Adrenaline Bootcamp

heather_instructor_pic_online_smallI have always been interested in health and fitness. It wasn’t until I found myself overweight, out of shape and dealing with a back injury that I made a commitment to make a permanent lifestyle change in the form of diet and exercise. I set a personal goal to learn as much as possible about healthy eating and different forms of exercise. I would love to share that knowledge with you.

As a mom of two school age children I understand the challenges of juggling schedules and trying to make time for a healthy lifestyle. I have learned that by setting specific, measurable, and attainable goals anything is possible. My goal as a trainer is to motivate, educate, and inspire individuals to take charge of their health, fitness, and general well-being while they move towards making permanent lifestyle changes. Understanding that no one person is the same, I focus on making workouts challenging, yet fun for people of all ages and fitness levels. Have a dream, believe in the dream, and go after the dream!

Katie Harper
Instructor, Adrenaline Bootcamp

katie_instructor_pic_online_smallI have been an athlete my entire life, but didn’t find my love of healthy eating AND exercise until I joined Adrenaline Bootcamp as a member. The instructors were able to provide me with training sessions as well as food prep advice, and since then, I haven’t turned back. I have gone from a cardio queen who didn’t know much about healthy eating, to focusing on strength training and fueling my body for my workouts. I absolutely love what I do. Being able to help people lead healthier and happier lives, watching them transform their bodies, and often times getting their family members to join them is indescribable!

Jon Mollerup
Instructor, Adrenaline Bootcamp

jon_instructor_pic_online_smallI’m a working professional, father of three boys, dedicated sports Dad and lover of all things sports or outdoors. I can’t remember a time in my life when it didn’t revolve around some sort of athletic activity. I grew up playing just about every sport I could and was fortunate to be able to play football at Virginia Tech! Go HOKIES! Along the way I’ve had my share of injuries (knees mainly), but never lost the love of staying active and never let those injuries get me down. While I’ve been around athletics my whole life it’s only been in the last few years that I’ve really found a home in Adrenaline and remained committed to my goals. Making goals is one thing, but exceeding those goals is another! The biggest motivation for me teaching classes is ensuring there’s a high level of energy, pushing people to do their best and…ok, I’ll admit it, I like good music too! I try to live by the standard that pulled me into Adrenaline as a member, “You’ll never take the same class twice,” so you never know what sort of craziness is in store for you when you step on the turf.

Hometown: Waynesboro, Virginia

Hobbies: Anything “sports related,” coaching my boys teams and the outdoors

Kathy Duke
Instructor, Adrenaline Bootcamp

kathy_instructor_pic_online_smallAs a young adult, it wasn’t long before I noticed a connection between exercise and feeling good. Not just physically, but it seemed that my attitude shifted, and sleeping and eating habits improved. Believing I wasn’t athletic throughout youth, it has taken time to cultivate an appreciation for movement and health. Over time I began to see how meeting challenges in a class or on the trails became experiences that allowed confidence and perseverance to grow. Fitness has become a rock that resets and centers me daily.

Living a healthy lifestyle includes a balance of movement, nutrition and quality rest. In my job as a trainer, I incorporate what I have learned – creating a personal healthy habit depends on the individual, specific to their needs and abilities, and time. Success in a training program can be measured by physical progress, and also by quality of life. The opportunity to connect with others inspires me, hearing each story, and celebrating achievements along the way.

Ed Albrigo
Instructor, Adrenaline Bootcamp

ed_instructor_pic_online_smallA fitness program was my solution to dealing with work-related stress. It wasn’t always my solution. I typically dealt with such stress by heading out to restaurants and bars with my work colleagues. Several years ago I realized that I wasn’t dealing with stress at all. So I changed my thinking on managing stress and moved to high intensity fitness programs and daily routines for re-energizing myself physically and mentally.

My journey started with SoldierFit and continues as a trainer in Adrenaline. We each face trade-offs everyday among physical and mental well-being, family, work, etc. My goal as a trainer is to guide people on making good trade-offs,  on building daily routines for physical and mental well-being as well as motivating and inspiring people to reach their potential through butt-kicking fitness classes.

Hometown: Chantilly, Virginia. I’ve lived here longer than where I grew up in Solvay, NY on the west side of Syracuse; where the snow piles up as it comes off the Great Lakes and crosses western NY. Average snow all is about 170 inches/year although it topped out at 220 inches a couple of years ago. Any wonder I moved to a warmer climate immediately after graduation from the University of Rochester?
